Information :
La chute Montmorency (parfois chutes, au pluriel) est une chute d'eau situĂ©e Ă  l'embouchure de la riviĂšre Montmorency, oĂč celle-ci se dĂ©verse par le rivage en falaise dans le fleuve Saint-Laurent, vis-Ă -vis de l'extrĂ©mitĂ© ouest de l'Île d'OrlĂ©ans. Elle est administrativement partagĂ©e entre la ville de QuĂ©bec et la municipalitĂ© de Boischatel. La chute, d'une hauteur de 83 mĂštres, est la plus haute de la province du QuĂ©bec et dĂ©passe de trente mĂštres les chutes du Niagara. La profondeur du bassin au pied de la chute est de dix-sept mĂštres.

Montmorency Falls (sometimes falls, in the plural) is a waterfall located at the mouth of the Montmorency River, where it flows through the cliff-top shore into the St.Lawrence River, opposite the western end of Île d'OrlĂ©ans. It is administratively shared between the city of Quebec and the municipality of Boischatel. The fall, 83 meters high, is the highest in the province of Quebec and exceeds Niagara Falls by thirty meters. The depth of the basin at the foot of the fall is seventeen meters.
